Public Service or Charity
Advertising or outright donations are welcome by service organizations and community oriented businesses.
The WTE participation gives a unique method of making donations inasmuch as goods and services can be given and resold through the tCashe accounts.   It is not necessary to donate cash to support a charity. Excess inventory, trade value credit which is in excess of what a business can use profitably, tickets to events, business services and other items may be donated and handled through WTE accounts.  Donations to a 501C3 charitable organization, are generally deductible at fair market value.
We request pure donations, not discount "deals" where one is required to provide a portion in cash and receive a discount from the normal price.   We also prefer items or services which carry no expiration date and are usable by any third party.   Another requested method of operation is for the donor to maintain physical control of any bulky inventory and transfer title to the charity.   The charity can then promote its availability and send recipients to pick up items.   None of these are absolute requirements, they simply help smaller groups handle bulky items or promote items.  Contact WTE to discuss details.
Note the IRS regulations allow any person to make up to a $10,000 gift to another too.  These may be made to individuals who are not charities and may be a method of reducing inventory carried on the books by a business.  Ask your tax adviser.
Donations are made to the charitable organization itself, not WTE.  WTE provides the accounts to charity organizations (501 C3 and the like) to facilitate these transactions and will assist in handling transactions and inventory which becomes the property of  the charity.  WTE operates charity accounts at no fees.
Not all organizations here or the items they sell qualify as deductible.  However, you support a good cause when you buy items from any of their sales programs.
Vist the thrift store, order Lions club Mother's Day roses, attend a class at IBC, join the BBB.  All these are available using your tCashe card and you support a good cause.
