The Lions Clubs of Texas welcome community minded persons who are willing to assist the many programs operated by the Lions.  The Horizon City Lions invite Horizon and El Paso area residents to assist in service to your community and meet your city and state leaders.
Long known for support in various eye care programs, the Lions collect and distribute used eyeglasses, sponsor training programs for the blind, and maintain the Leader Dog Program for seeing eye dogs.  Each year in October, the Horizon Club sponsors the Health Fair in Horizon City for free eye tests, cholesterol and glucose tests and lots of health information.  Flu shots are available at a low cost.
In Texas, a Lions project is the Texas Lions Camp, a summer camp for disabled children which is provided free of charge to participants.
For local programs contact the above Lions members.  We usually meet early on the second and fourth Saturday's of each month at the Flying J truck stop I10 at  Horizon Boulevard.   Come early at  8:30 for breakfast.    All welcome.
WTE members are invited to join the Lions using their tCashe accounts or simply donate from their tCashe accounts. For donations of trade goods or credits, you may contact WTE or contact the Horizon Lions thru Mr. Chittenden.
