Transaction Services
Shopping Service
The Exchange provides a free shopping service capability for members.  While most of our activity is done by simple telephone referrals or directory usage, some items will benefit from this assistance.   In particular, expensive items or those with technical requirements which are difficult to choose between may benefit from this free consulting.  The Exchange normally operates by earning a service charge on the amount of cash it saves a buyer.  If we cannot get a better deal, then the buyer should decide not to make the purchase.   Therefore, the psychology of asking for a shopping service from the Exchange is different than that of asking the seller directly.  A buyer can be comfortable with the idea there is no obligation and certainly if he finds a better price elsewhere, it is clear to the seller why there is no purchase.   Please note the Exchange does not normally try to negotiate prices.  We communicate the price we have found from another member or other source.  If the buyer wishes to let us know the price he has found, we will pass that on to the seller.  Indeed, our experience is that this is one of the better techniques in getting a good price.  An informed buyer can communicate this, so it pays to shop around and pass on the information.  Again, note that the Exchange does not gain any earnings unless the buyer decides to make the purchase through his account.
The member should fill out such information as can be defined on a note, a fax, or the WTE form for us to ask around about the desired item.  A telephone request will also work if the member has the information available to pass on at that time.  WTE will make a "best effort" to define the price, (including what sort of bargain we can achieve), the technical specifications of  an item or service offered and where this item is available.   All this is done at no charge for members and the member is free to contact the seller and arrange his purchase if desired.
Note:  WTE will relate such information as is communicated by potential sellers but cannot assume responsibility for the truthfulness or accuracy of such information.  The buyer should always confirm specifications and prices before an actual purchase.  There are Guarantee Procedures in place for protection of members but these are no substitute for getting the terms clear before a payment is made.
For Member Clients only please:  Go to Shopping Service Form.  Members are welcome to call in on the private member line as well although we encourage writing it down on the form.
Barter Services
A unique feature of a tCashe account is the ability to achieve pure trade or partial trade/partial cash transactions.  See the Barter Services discussion page.
Automatic Payment Service
Monthly billings and bills to be paid between members may be paid by the payee communicating what the amount to be paid is and who to pay.  This may be done monthly or as a one time transaction.  While this is similar to on-line bill paying, it is done only between member businesses and/or individual members.  No added charges occur.  Monthly rents, time payment contracts, car payments, and large payments requiring financing may all benefit from such services.  Contact WTE to define the particulars of a payment plan and set it up.
  Credit References
Member Clients are welcome to use WTE as a credit reference.   We will provide this information to nonmembers if a Member Client makes such a request for us to do so.  Between Member Clients, the Rules allow discussion of the credit worthiness of a Buyer before a Seller commits time and resources to a job.  A general idea of whether a charge will be approved is available to Seller Member Clients to protect them from a "no pay" situation.
Check Cashing for employees
Employees of member businesses who set up their own tCashe individual accounts (free with a $15 per year annual fee) may benefit from a payroll check cashing service we offer.   Check with WTE about the terms.
Transaction Evaluations
Members are invited to evaluate any transaction in which they were the buyer.  We want to track service quality and those sellers who provide good service should be rewarded.   Please print the Transaction Evaluation form and send it to the Exchange with your comments.
