EP Barter Group
WTE sponsors a free barter group site for the public working through the popular Yahoo Groups system.
This is designed as a communications channel for anyone to offer and request goods and services in barter. It is a person-to-person group so that individuals are completely responsible for the communications and outcomes of any transaction or message. Note that the function of Yahoo groups is normally to allow private email communications between the two parties after an initial message on a site such as this.
Users of this group agree to indemnify the Western Trade Exchange and Yahoo for any outcomes or communications in the group.
While WTE will restrict communications to those known to be legal to our best ability, no responsibility falls on WTE or Yahoo to do so in each and every instance. WTE will endeavor to keep all communications legal but must be held not responsible if one (or more) slips through, insasmuch as the system is free and not monitored at all times.
Contacts made through this group may be with parties completely unknown to WTE such that we are unable to identify the party or vouch for their veracity. Each person using the group should take all the normal precautions one would take in dealing with a stranger. No guarantee or warranty of any item, service or honesty is possible by WTE. Having said all that, there are some marvelous deals worked when friendly barter persons work together. If each party can provide what the other needs, a considerable saving of cash money may occur and friends are made that way.
